Hats & Henna High Tea was a hot. HPW Board Member, Cancer Survivor & Board Member for The Rose Ashma Khanani Moosa spearheaded the high tea alongside her daughter Fatima. Ashma welcomed guests to an amazing experience with tea, treats, fashion and fellowship as she celebrates her 13th year of survivorship along with her village of friends, family and supporters.
Hats & Henna is a event that brings so much meaning for Ashma and her daughter. They share what good things came out of this difficult journey. This benefit most importantly helps other women with breast health care to get mammograms at The Rose.
The Rose serves women who are unable to pay for their mammogram or are uninsured. How can you be part of this contribution, every 3 women with insurance pays for 1 uninsured woman to get their mammogram.
HPW Founder Amber Jamshed attended, alongside DPW #NextGen Council Member Danielle Meggoe attended the event in support with other members of the organization. This annual event that brings awareness, connects and educates my community about breast cancer.
