Jennifer Perez Medina Joins DPW's Local Leadership Council as Our Digital Strategist!
We're so excited to announce that Social Media Strategist Jennifer Perez Medina will be supporting our DPW & HPW (Houston chapter) members by joining the Local Leadership Council as our expert resource! With their digital marketing know-how, her expert advice focusing on social media engagement, product & service engagement and helping women create consistent brand messaging by advising, guiding, coaching and offering discount services through her Social Media Management company The Socially Connected.
Jennifer's influence of creating social media strategies that work is what attracted DPW members to vote for her as a reliable resource for their business needs. With tactical and strategic vision for email, content and message marketing, her engagement strategies make sense! She demystifies how to engage authentically with fans, followers and potential leads. Jennifer is multi talented with a background in news writing, editing and public relations. She spent twelve years in the private and education sectors building her career in communications, copywriting, public relations, and digital media.
In 2018, she founded The Socially Connected, a social media agency focused on strategic content for women entrepreneurs, combining traditional PR methods with modern digital marketing strategies to provide services like social media strategy, content creation, and influencer & event marketing.
Jennifer is a multi-passionate entrepreneur. She is the founder of the ARRIVE Digital Marketing Virtual Conference and Career Closet HTX, an initiative to mentor Juniors and Seniors at Heights High School transition to life after graduation in partnership with the non-profit, Communities in Schools. Not to mention, the construction firm and batting cage facility she runs alongside her husband.
On her time off, she loves spending time with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include trying new Houston restaurants, reading, taking her daughter to gymnastics, and cheering for her son at his baseball games on the weekends.
She is an active member of the Women Helping Women 2 Network organization, Houston Latina Bloggers organization and volunteers with her son’s school PTA.
