15 Ways to Celebrate Women During Women's History & Empowerment Month!

It's here! Women's History & Empowerment Month! This is the month that every single woman should be celebrated for her efforts, contribution, and the path she's trailblazing! This is a month dedicated to celebrate all women - because let's face it....women are AMAZING, INSPIRING and PROBLEM SOLVERS!

Women's Month is a time for all women to celebrate, inspire, support and learn about other women too. Another important part of Women's Empowerment Month is also about having the power to choose! We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world. From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge the very obstacles that get in our way!

Since 1995, each president has issued annual proclamations designating the month of March as Women's History Month The National Women's History Alliance selects and publishes the yearly theme. The theme for Women's History Month in 2021 captures the spirit of these challenging times.

So how is Dallas Professional Women celebrating women everywhere?

This article is going to give 15 ideas to celebrate women, and one of the most exciting ways is DPW's Virtual Shoutout!

This year we're pairing up with two local non-profits in Texas committed to supporting communities and women. The local non-profits Douglass Visions & Agape Resources provide essential support to families that need it the most.

Starting in March 2021 for a minimal charge of $20 anyone can purchase a shoutout and dedicate it to any woman! We're going to keep the positive vibes flowing by celebrating women and using 3 keywords to describe them! You can visit the Virtual ShoutOuts to view the current tributes and you can even LIKE and SHARE the shoutouts through social media!
