Texas Women for Children Conference

In 2019, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) Texas Regional Office launched Texas Women for Children, with a mission to educate, engage, and empower the community on abduction and child sexual exploitation.

The Texas Women for Children Conference hosted by CHRISTUS Health is designed to galvanize the persistence and commitment of women across the state and features a variety of guest speakers from law enforcement and child welfare, an introduction to prevention and community resources available through NCMEC, a multidisciplinary panel discussion and dedicated time for collaboration and networking.
